Last month The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was released for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Here’s how it looks like on current-gen consoles.
While the physical release of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is expected to be released later this month, you can already get to the current-gen version of the RPG digitally since December 14th, 2022 or upgrade free of charge if you own the PlayStation 4 or Xbox One version. On PS5 and Xbox Series X you can enjoy a higher density of foilage, a higher resolution of up to 4K and up to 60 frames per second. The game lets you pick between a Ray Tracing Mode which includes raytraced shadows, a dynamic resolution of 2560 × 1440p and 30 frames per second or a Performance Mode with a dynamic 3840 x 2160p resolution and 60 frames per second.
