- For the first time since 2016 there are two winners of the Game of the Year award: Elden Ring and God of War Ragnarök (36.4 percent each). In 2021 Elden Ring was voted Most Anticipated Game.
- God of War Ragnarök was nominated 6x, while Elden Ring, Immortality and Xenoblade Chronicles 3 were nominated 4x each.
- God of War Ragnarök wins 5 Awards. Red Dead Redemption II still holds the record by winning 6 trophies in 2018. Clear cut result: In addition the game gathered a whopping 63.6 percent of the casted votes in Best Story in a Game.
